Born and raised in South Carolina, I grew up across the river from Charleston in Mt. Pleasant. While attending high school at Bishop England High School, I found an interest in computers. I briefly attended the College of Charleston, before taking a break and moving to California for 6 months. Upon moving back to Charleston, I worked in the hospitality business at Wild Dunes Resort for 3 years. Next, I went back to the College of Charleston, this time as an employee instead of a student. Working in the computing department fed my early interest in computers. I learned on my own, earning my CCNA, and with help from fellow employees I have expanded my knowledge in computers, so much more then when it was just a hobby. I have worked in the Administrative Computing Depatment at College of Charleston since 2001. |
My interests include the obvious of computers and photography. After receiving an Olympus C750 for my 26th birthday, I started taking pictures and learning more about photography. I now play around with my Olympus E-500. I like to travel and take pictures of different locations and hope to travel more in the future. I still enjoy computers as a hobby at home, away from work. I am a technology junkie all together, from being an audiophile to videophile. After high school came a golf phase. I played golf for about 5 years, playing a few times a week while working at Wild Dunes. After taking a 5 year sabbatical from have the game, I picked up the clubs again. I am a sports fanatic all together with a passion for football. Hail to the Redskins.
